How do I use Electronic Databases off campus?

You are able to access the Library’s databases 24 hours a day from anywhere in the world. If you are a distance-education student and living in Ireland, you can use the Library’s databases just as if you were on campus, living in Boland Hall.

To access the library’s databases from off campus, go to the library web page and click on Databases. Nearly all of our on-line databases require only your Seton Hall password and ID for off-campus access. A very few have a special username and password. Click here for more info.

Nearly all of our on-line databases require only your Seton Hall password and ID for off-campus access. A very few require you to have a special username and password. Those databases have an alert message next to their title in the database list. To access them, all you need to do is enter your Seton Hall password and ID, and the username and password necessary for these special databases will appear. You must be a member of the Seton Hall community in order to use the library databases.
