What are Microforms?

There are two kinds of microforms at the library: microfilm and microfiche. Microfilm is a film bearing a photographic record, on a reduced scale, of printed or other graphic matter. Microfiche is a sheet of microfilm, containing rows of micro-images of printed matter. Both require special equipment in order to read them. They are located in the Microform room of the 3nd floor of the Library.
