The Sister Rose Thering Endowment for Jewish-Christian Studies
supports the academic mission of the
Graduate Department of Jewish-Christian Studies at Seton Hall University

• The JCST Department, founded in 1974, is a master's level graduate program that promotes understanding among Jews and Christians through honest shared inquiry into the sources, history, achievements and relations of Christians and Jews through the centuries, including antisemitism and the Holocaust. Its curriculum includes a study of the three communities and teachings within the Abrahamic family of religions, including Islam.
• The specific purpose of the Sister Rose Thering Endowment is to promote and facilitate enrollment of educators in the graduate courses of the Jewish-Christian Studies Department and to assist in the development of the academic resources for the Graduate Department of Jewish-Christian Studies.
• Donations to the Sister Rose Thering Endowment may be earmarked for a variety of purposes: named tuition scholarships for educators, named endowments for special programs in the JCST Department, or the Virtual Media Library of Resources for Jewish-Christian Studies.
