St. Petersburg, Russia
Study Abroad Program in St. Petersburg, Russia
Department of Modern Languages/History Department
May 29 – June 29
The “ Northern Venice” continues to impress the visitors of Russia by a perplexing mixture of contrasting imagery and experiences. Past and present are fused in the everyday life of this modern metropolis. The city of St. Petersburg is not just a beautiful location; it is also a historical source of undiminishing value. Students will gain a unique educational experience by studying this city, by walking, and by “reading” it. The program will deepen their understanding of Russia, its history and culture through intensive excursions and sightseeing trips. There is no better place to study Russian cultural and social customs than here, in Russia’s “window into Europe." The course is taught in collaboration with St. Petersburg State University.
