Innovations in community development
3 credits
Short Course
objectives Deepening the new currents of thought and intervention in community development. Identify and analyze the factors renewal of community organizing practices in various fields of application. contents Study of new currents of intervention in the field of development and organization of urban and rural communities. Study the renewal of actors in local and regional development, growth strategies and analysis of its constituent partners. Changing issues and challenges in community organizing. Illustration of the concepts presented by research and professional interventions.
Communication and consultation in the community
3 credits
Short Course
objectives Deepen the foundations related to communication and consultation in the community. Identify and analyze the specific communication strategies to the community. Identify and analyze the forms and dynamics of consultation practices in community settings. contents Study the types of consultation and effective communication in the community and its partners. Analysis of advertising issues facing the contemporary community. Analysis of modes of interaction between actors (community, institutional and other sectors). Study of current consultation practices. Analysis of the positioning of actors, issues and perspectives.
Community-based Management
3 credits
Short Course
objectives Deepen the foundations of the management in the community. Acquire an analysis and understanding of the issues associated with it. Identify and analyze the specific management practices and relevant to the community. contents Comparative study of governance models, private and community. Study and analysis of the foundations, values, and issues of the management of community organizations. Deepening of various elements on which community context management rests: social capital, paid human resources and volunteers, financial resources. Analysis of organizational structures promoting participation and democracy at all levels of the organization.

This training is for managers and stakeholders with an academic background and experience in the community who wish to deepen their management skills and community development. They will strengthen their ability to analyze the influence of social, political and legislative development community. After their training, they will develop the management skills necessary to act so structuring the management of community organizations. They also master the communication strategies and specific consultation practices at Community context.
