This qualification will further develop your practical skills and knowledge to develop services and programs to meet identified needs within the community. You will learn skills in advanced communication, group work, training, community information provision and program development. You will also learn how to design and deliver programs that are accessible and enhance community participation. You will develop an understanding of the legal and ethical requirements for working in community services. |
Certificate III In Community Services

This qualification will provide you with the practical skills and knowledge to work effectively with individuals and groups, in residential and community settings, to identify their needs and plan and develop appropriate services to meet those needs. You will learn about the community services sector including mental health, alcohol and other drug services and domestic violence services. You will learn skills in effective communication, gathering, maintaining and providing information, advocacy and community development processes, ethical behaviour and legal responsibilities of community workers. |
