What is a search concept?

Think about your topic and break it down into different segments. For example, if you are doing research
on stress in the workplace, you must be sure to break down your query into the concepts of
stress and workplace. If you only rely on the one concept of stress in the workplace, your results will
suffer, because the computer will look for only that specific phrase.

When you search, it is very important to use more than one term, in order not to get too many hits. Just typing in the word stress will retrieve far too many hits. You must combine it with workplace.

But what if that strategy doesn't work well and you don't get enough information? Try to think of
alternative terms that you might use in the search boxes. For example, you might use such words as
"anxiety" in addition to stress; or you could use job or office in addition to workplace.
