What types of Journal Databases are there in the library?

The library subscribes to many databases that support your classroom assignments. The databases vary in the amount of information they offer.  Some databases offer citations to articles; some offer citations and abstracts (synopses) of articles; while some provide electronic copies of the actual article (full-text).

Some library online databases cover specific disciplines, such as English, History, Philosophy, Religion, Science, Psychology, Gender Studies, Ethnic Studies, and Criminal Studies. Other databases such as Academic Search Premier (EBSCO host) combine subject areas in one search.

A list of these databases may be found on the library home page by clicking on "Databases and Indexes to Articles" under "Articles/Journals".
