Principle Investigator
Policy Handbook

For the first time at Seton Hall University, the policies and procedures
for the preparation and submission of grant proposals, as well as the
administration of grant projects, are now available in one resource:
The Principal Investigator’s Handbook. In the Handbook you will find
useful information on budget and proposal development, indirect costs,
and advice on no cost extensions and subcontracts and service agreements.
The Handbook also has the University’s travel policy, cost sharing policy,
as well as the scientific misconduct policy, and the policy on sabbatical
leave of absence while on a grant or fellowship. Finally, many forms used
by OGRS are collected in the appendices of the Handbook, where you will
also find other relevant information such as the current fringe benefit rates
and links to Federal websites that have important documentation.

You may download the entire 67- page PDF document or through dynamic
bookmarks use the table of contents to focus on any particular section of
the Handbook. In either case, the Handbook is an up-to-date, useful tool
for every PI and Project Director at Seton Hall.
