Special Recognition Award University
Recipients
The Special Recognition Award is presented to individuals, on and off campus, who demonstrate a commitment to the principles of EOP by supporting its students, staff, and overall program mission and goals.
Bishop Joseph A. Frances Freedom Service Education Award
The Bishop Joseph A. Frances Freedom Service Educational Award is given to graduating seniors who demonstrate outstanding leadership, community service, and academic achievement. These students are recognized at Seton Hall University Leadership Award Ceremony.
Community Advisory Board Award
The EOP Community Service Board Award is given to graduating seniors for academic excellence, community service and leadership.
Outstanding Improvement Award
The Outstanding Improvement Award is given to students for demonstrated persistence in the pursuit of academic achievement despite tremendous obstacles.
Academic Excellence Award
The Academic Excellence Award is given to females and males from each class who achieve the highest cumulative grade point average for the year.
Monsignor Thomas Fahy Academic Excellence Award
The Monsignor Thomas Fahy Academic Award is give to the EOP graduating senior who has achieved the highest cumulative grade point average. This student is recognized at the Seton Hall University Academic Awards Ceremony.
University Dean’s List
At the end of each semester, the dean of each school publishes, on the Dean’s List, the names of full-time students who have done outstanding work and have obtained a grade point average of 3.40-4.00 with no grade lower than a C. This is achieved by 30% of EOP students annually.
